The Senior Business Development Manager is a pivotal role responsible for managing partnership development, creating new market opportunities, and expanding RiteChoice Pharmacy’s presence in the 340B space. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and leadership to establish a strong foundation for long-term growth. The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the CEO and CFO to design and implement systems that scale various facets of the business, including, but not limited to, the 340B program partnership, patient medication center, and RPH Provider models.
This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong project management and marketing experience, a deep understanding of the 340B program, and the ability to gather and analyze data for strategic growth. Travel is a key component of the role, as the Senior Business Development Manager will meet with clients, build new relationships, and form partnerships with covered entities in and out of RiteChoice Corporate Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Development and Management
- Manage the complete partnership development, including lead generation, prospecting, proposal development, presentations, and form new partnerships with covered entities.
- Oversee unscheduled outreach, networking with clinics, and building relationships with health centers to grow the client base.
- Respond to RFPs, lead contract negotiations, and ensure alignment with company goals and budgets.
- Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through various channels such as referrals, direct outreach, business research and industry networking.
Market Development and Pipeline Management
- Analyze state-specific and national data to craft targeted growth strategies.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential leads to ensure focus on impactful opportunities.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations to align market development initiatives with operational capabilities.
- Establish metrics to monitor performance, including revenue growth, lead conversion rates, and client satisfaction.
Marketing
- Develop and manage marketing strategies to promote RiteChoice’s 340B offerings and services.
- Organize and execute conference initiatives, including attending events, networking with industry leaders, and arranging team presentations.
- Manage company social media accounts to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
- Collaborate with marketing associates to create impactful content and campaigns.
Customer Relationship Development and Management
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with 340B covered entities, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on RiteChoice’s 340B program capabilities and compliance requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients to ensure a seamless onboarding process and sustained program success.
- Represent RiteChoice at industry events and client meetings, traveling extensively to foster relationships and form new partnerships with covered entities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of senior manager experience in 340B and/or healthcare, with a proven track record in business growth and client relationship management.
- Comprehensive understanding of 340B program requirements and pharmacy management operations, strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using MS Excel and other tools within the MS Office suite.
- Experience managing social media platforms and developing marketing strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while building out a scalable team structure.
